Get ready for the big let down. People are taxed too much as it is, and with a greedy government/teachers wanting more, you are setting yourself up for a fall.

Be prepared for:
a. less money in the retirement
b. paying more for health benefits
c. more teacher kick in for retirement
d. decrease in health benefits

Seems a little slanted to me. I'm sure it would have a different tone if the PSBA had produced it.

Obviously some Democrat pandering to a greedy union was the source of this. Any promises made are now going to be DRASTICALLY reduced as the working people of PA will not be too happy to have thier taxes increase so you can retire in luxury.

This is political poison for any lawmaker to embrace (except for fast Eddie, who's on his way out thankfully).

I'd love to hear the PSBA side of it. They don't have a stance. They don't even know what to do about it.

Which would you rather bet on - a 6% chance that WANT higher taxes so they can be further overpaid or a 94% chance that sane people DON'T want higher taxes to pay greedy teachers and government union slugs?

I'd bet lawmakers won't change the pension system in PA because it will affect them too.

A lawmaker that requires a 40% TAX INCREASE so that government workers and teachers can retire in the lap of luxury will not be a lawmaker for long.

Show me a lawmaker that poses a huge tax burden on people and I'll show you a lawmaker that will be residing in the unemployment line...
